I made my mother a bouquet with real money for Mother's Day. She loved it! I used different supplies for hers.
I first started making origami with money after coming across butterfly instructions in National Geographic Kids Everything Money.
Are you ready to make flowers? Each flower requires 3 bill and one pipe cleaner.
Step 1: Lay the bill on a flat surface horizontally.
Step 2: Fold the bill in half lengthwise to make a center crease. Unfold the bill.
Step 3: Fold each corner in to touch the center crease. Your bill will look like an arrow with 2 points.
Step 4: Fold the long ends in toward the center crease.
Step 5: Fold the bill in half lengthwise.
Step 6: Repeat steps 1-5 with two more bills.
Step 7: Place all three bills together and fold in half vertically
Step 8: Secure with pipe cleaner
Step 9: Open leaves and curl ends
Enjoy your flowers!
